1. About these Terms
Effective date: 6 October 2026. Last updated: 6 October 2026. Terms version: 2026-10-06.
These Terms govern the UNDERDOGS service at underdogsbattles.com. Our contact details are on Contact / Legal. The Content Policy forms part of these rules. The Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy explain data use; accepting these Terms is not consent to optional tracking or commercial analytics.
2. Accounts and eligibility
You must be at least 14 years old to create or use an UNDERDOGS account. Provide accurate date-of-birth and other account information. We use your private date of birth to check account eligibility; a self-declared date is not independent identity or parental-permission verification. Accounts without this information must complete account setup before normal authenticated use. If an account does not meet the minimum age, access is restricted and support review is available; we do not automatically delete its data.
If you are under 18, you may make purchases or use paid features only with the permission of a parent or legal guardian. This includes subscriptions, FIRES, sponsorships and other paid digital products or features. UNDERDOGS does not currently verify that permission through a parental-consent flow. This rule does not override applicable law on minors, contractual capacity or any additional provider requirements.
Provide accurate account information, use an email address you control and keep your credentials secure. Verify your email to activate email/password access. Google Sign-In is an alternative login method, not proof of artist ownership. Tell us promptly if your account may have been compromised.
You must have the legal capacity or authorization required for the features and purchases you use. Tournament eligibility may include additional age or location conditions shown in its rules. Do not use someone else's payment method without permission.
An email/password account that is never verified is removed after 72 hours through periodic cleanup. A new registration using that email can replace the unverified registration. Complete verification before relying on the account.
3. Music discovery and participation
UNDERDOGS provides Battles, Rankings, For You recommendations, song and artist pages, Favorites, playlists, comments and discovery history. Battle results reflect eligible votes and our ranking rules, not a guarantee of quality, commercial success or future placement. For You feedback personalizes discovery and is separate from Battle scoring. Friends sessions, Streamer rounds, artist challenges and tournaments have their own participation and result rules. Do not manipulate any of these systems.
4. Artist profiles, claims and management
Public music may appear on an unclaimed artist profile. Claiming or managing a profile requires the authorization and channel checks provided by the service; a matching name or social link alone is not proof of ownership. Owners and authorized managers must act within their authority, provide accurate identity and metadata, and keep public links and event information accurate. Administrative corrections or profile merges do not transfer copyright or automatically determine who is entitled to earnings.
5. YouTube and connected services
UNDERDOGS uses YouTube API Services and official embedded players. By using those features, you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google Sign-In and connecting a YouTube channel are separate; you may use different Google accounts for them. Channel access is read-only and does not give us your YouTube password.
You must have authority to connect a channel and submit or represent its content. Importing creates an UNDERDOGS entry referencing YouTube-hosted media, not a copy of the video. YouTube remains the source of playback and may restrict availability. UNDERDOGS comments, Favorites, votes and playlists are our own features, not YouTube comments, likes, subscriptions or playlists.
A published Snippet can expose a public or unlisted YouTube link to everyone who can view it. Unlisted does not mean private. Twitch connection is optional for Streamer chat voting and subject to Twitch's own terms. External services are not operated by UNDERDOGS and do not endorse us merely because we integrate them.
6. Your content and permissions
You retain your rights in content you provide. Give us the non-exclusive permission necessary to store, format, display and deliver your submitted text, images and metadata for the features you request, including through our hosting providers. This permission does not transfer ownership of music or grant rights you do not hold. Respect others' copyright, privacy and identity rights. Content removal and account deletion are subject to the limited historical, security and legal retention described in our Privacy Policy, not a right to exploit deleted content for unrelated purposes.
7. Community rules and moderation
Follow the Content Policy. Fraud, impersonation, harassment, illegal material, unauthorized automation, vote manipulation and payment abuse are prohibited. We may review reports, correct metadata, limit features, hide content or suspend access where appropriate to address a violation or legal requirement. Context, severity and repeated conduct matter. To report content or ask for review of a decision, use the available reporting controls or contact us. Legitimate complaints, refund requests and payment disputes are not themselves abuse.
8. Plans and recurring subscriptions
Free, Artist and Pro have the features and limits shown on the plans page and in the purchase flow. Artist account status or channel verification is distinct from a paid Artist subscription. Paid access does not guarantee discovery results, votes, earnings or acceptance of prohibited content.
Before paying, review the selected plan, billing period, currency, total and any applicable taxes in Checkout. Recurring subscriptions renew for the stated period until canceled. Account billing controls allow you to stop renewal; ordinary cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period shown there. Account deletion cancels active subscriptions as part of deletion. Plan changes follow the offer and timing shown when selected. Cancellation is not the same as exercising a statutory right of withdrawal or requesting a refund.
Stripe provides Checkout and subscription processing. Subscription and Sponsored Track checkout use Stripe's Managed Payments flow, where Link's applicable seller and transaction terms are shown. This does not mean Link is the seller for every UNDERDOGS payment, in particular FIRES.
9. FIRES support credits and artist earnings
FIRES are virtual support credits used within UNDERDOGS. A fan's spendable FIRES balance is different from an artist's earnings. Fans cannot withdraw purchased FIRES as cash, resell them as money or use them as an investment. Receiving support does not add spendable FIRES to the artist's personal balance.
For gifts recorded under the current USD earning version, each eligible FIRE credits $0.01 USD. Historical EUR earnings retain their recorded EUR amount and are never converted: gifts recorded at €0.01 EUR per FIRE keep that rate. Balances and recovery obligations in different currencies are accounted for separately. Earnings are subject to payment validity, ownership and payout checks; a displayed support total is not a promise of immediately available cash. Eligible artist earnings mature after 14 days, and the minimum withdrawal is $50 USD (5000 eligible, matured FIRES) for USD earnings. Historical EUR earnings retain their separate €50 EUR minimum. Stripe Connect onboarding and an eligible, verified payout relationship are required. Payouts are subject to Stripe's age, identity and representative requirements. Minors may need a parent, legal guardian or other eligible adult representative; an UNDERDOGS account does not guarantee independent payout eligibility. Tax obligations remain subject to applicable law.
Support sent to an unclaimed artist is held for that artist rather than made immediately withdrawable by another account. A later claim must pass the required checks. Managers and profile merges do not automatically acquire payout rights. Administrative or promotional credits are not a promise of funded, withdrawable earnings.
FIRES checkout and payouts are currently restricted to test mode. Sandbox purchases, gifts and earnings are test records, not real payments or a right to real-money withdrawal. Test balances may be reset; old test support does not become payable when an artist is later claimed. This test reset is not a term authorizing the removal of legitimate future paid balances.
10. FIRES pricing, payments and reversals
Where localized FIRES prices are available, they derive from the USD customer-price base catalog through a stored monthly pricing snapshot. Your preferred currency takes priority over your saved country, then the request country supplied by Cloudflare; otherwise EUR is used. Prices are not live currency conversions. The currency and amount of an existing Checkout remain tied to that order, even when a new monthly catalog is published. Review the price before confirming.
Refunds, disputed payments and chargebacks can reverse related FIRES or earnings. Where those funds have already been gifted or paid out, recovery may involve holds, correction of the affected balance, reversal of a transfer where possible, or offset against related future earnings, subject to law. Unreconciled currency or ownership issues can require review. We do not use a new exchange rate to rewrite the original purchase. Contact us if you believe a correction is wrong. These controls do not remove mandatory refund or dispute rights.
11. Consumer rights and refunds
Except where required by applicable law or expressly stated otherwise, purchases are non-refundable. This policy concerns discretionary refunds, not statutory withdrawal, remedies for service failure or non-conformity, or refund rights under the applicable seller's terms. There is no general voluntary refund entitlement, including for FIRES that have been delivered, used or gifted. We review reported duplicate charges, non-delivery, technical failures and unauthorized payments under the applicable law and payment-provider rules; reporting an issue does not itself guarantee a refund.
Mandatory consumer protections remain available. For qualifying EU distance contracts, a right to withdraw generally exists for 14 days from conclusion of a service contract. Missing required withdrawal information can extend that period. Exceptions for completed services or digital content apply only where their legal conditions, including any required express request and acknowledgment, are satisfied. Agreeing to these Terms, using credits or simply starting a service does not by itself establish a valid waiver.
You can submit a clear withdrawal declaration using Account → Purchases → Withdraw from contract, identifying the contract and an email address for your receipt. We record the statement when submitted and send an acknowledgment independently of settlement. For services started at your express request during the withdrawal period, a proportionate amount for performance already supplied may be due only where legally permitted. Future performance stops when withdrawal takes effect. We do not treat starting a service as automatically waiving withdrawal rights. For FIRES, a withdrawal request can restrict remaining credits attributable to that purchase while its legal and financial treatment is resolved; unrelated purchases are not frozen. Previously gifted credits are reconciled through purchase-source accounting, not ignored.
To request withdrawal, a refund or correction of a payment, send a clear statement with your account email, order reference and purchase date to business@underdogsbattles.com. You can say: “I withdraw from my contract for [service/order], concluded on [date]”, with your name and contact details. No particular wording is required. You may also use the transaction support shown by the seller in Checkout. Do not send full card details. Statutory remedies for non-conforming digital content or services are not limited by our ordinary cancellation process.
12. Promotions, events and partner offers
Sponsored Tracks and sponsored tournaments identify paid promotion separately from organic results. Purchasing exposure does not buy organic wins, guarantee listens, saves or earnings, or guarantee a tournament result. Campaign duration, eligibility and price are shown before purchase. Artist event listings are supplied by the relevant artist; check organizer details and ticket terms before attending or purchasing elsewhere.
Tournaments and artist challenges are governed by their displayed rules, eligibility, entry periods and result procedures. Any prize is subject to the specific published event terms, not a general prize promise in these Terms.
Deals presents services including DistroKid, LANDR, Splice and Playlist Push. Where a configured referral link is available, we may receive a commission from qualifying purchases. The provider's eligibility, offer and purchase terms apply. A listing is not a guarantee of discount eligibility, playlist placement, streams or success, or a statement that the provider endorses UNDERDOGS.
13. Availability, responsibility and ending use
We cannot guarantee uninterrupted access, continued availability of a third-party video, or any artistic or financial result. You remain responsible for your own submissions and authorized use of your account. We may take proportionate steps to protect the service or comply with law. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, imposes a blanket consumer indemnity, or removes mandatory rights.
You may stop using the service and request account deletion in Account. Deletion uses an email confirmation and can require support review for unresolved payments. The Privacy Policy explains what is removed, anonymized or retained. Account closure does not cancel valid legal obligations or claims, and does not authorize us to retain unrelated personal data indefinitely.
14. Changes and questions
Material changes to these Terms require appropriate notice and, where needed, renewed agreement. Changes do not retroactively remove mandatory rights or rewrite completed payments. Privacy notices describe processing; optional consent remains separate. No exclusive court or governing-law choice in these Terms overrides protections that apply to you. Contact business@underdogsbattles.com for account, payment, rights or legal questions.
