Allowed music
Artist imports must be public music uploads from the exact YouTube channel verified for that artist, with accurate title, genre, and language. Each video and every associated channel exposed by YouTube must stay within the published 50,000-view and 50,000-subscriber eligibility limits.
Not allowed
Do not submit spam, deceptive metadata, exact duplicates, non-music videos, stolen uploads, private or unavailable videos, hateful or exploitative content, or content that violates applicable law or YouTube's terms.
Duplicates and alternate versions
The same YouTube video can only appear once. Likely matches based on normalized artist and title are flagged for review instead of automatically deleted, allowing legitimate remixes, live versions, and alternate recordings.
Reports and rights concerns
Reports are reviewed rather than triggering automatic removal. Use “Copyright concern” for a good-faith rights issue and include concise details. Urgent legal requests should be handled through a published contact channel before launch.
Enforcement
Moderators may edit metadata, disable or remove tracks, resolve reports, and blacklist channels. Repeated spam or abuse may cause all active songs from a channel to be disabled.
